Dear all, We have previously been ordered by the Danish Working Environment Authority (WEA) to hang up the wires and cables in our offices and laboratories. The WEA can, in other words, not accept wires and cables lying on the floor, when these just as well could be hung up. WEA’s order is based on the fact that employees may trip over wires and cables and that the floors cannot be cleaned, which will have a long-term negative effect on the indoor climate. We cannot ignore this order and I therefore ask you to remove as many wires and cables as possible from the floor by hanging them up under your desk or placing them in a cable tray, if you have one. Please, do so as soon as possible. Unfortunately, the employees at the electronics department do not have the capacity to assist you, but we will be happy to supply guidance and materials, making the task as easy for you as possible. You can pick up the materials at the reception, free of charge. There will be spiral wrapping for bundling cables, cable ties and self-adhesive cable tie mounting bases. Should you need any other equipment; you can order this from the electronics department. I am aware that you have other important tasks, which keep you busy, but I still hope you will take the time to solve this problem as well. Thank you! Kære alle, Vi har tidligere fået et påbud fra arbejdstilsynet for manglende ophængning af kabler på vore kontorer og laboratorier. De kan med andre ord ikke acceptere at der ligger kabler på gulvet, når de lige så godt kunne være ophængt. Årsagen til deres påbud er dels at man kan falde i kablerne og dels at gulvet ikke kan rengøres. Manglende rengøring giver på sigt dårligt indeklima. Vi kan ikke sidde dette påbud overhørig, så jeg vil bede jer fjerne så mange kabler som muligt fra gulvet hurtigst muligt. De kan f.eks. hænges op under skrivebordet eller anbringes i en kabelbakke, hvis en sådan findes. Vi har desværre ikke kapacitet i elektronikafdelingen til at kunne løse denne opgave for jer, men vi vil gerne hjælpe med rådgivning og materialer, således at opgaven bliver så let som mulig for jer. Materialerne kan frit afhentes i receptionen. Der vil være spiralflex til bundtning af kabler, kabelbindere og selvklæbende kabelbinderholdere. Har I brug for andet udstyr, kan det rekvireres i elektronikafdelingen. Jeg ved godt at I har travlt med vigtigere opgaver, men jeg håber alligevel at I vil tage jer tid til også at løse dette problem. På forhånd tak!
