Konferencen vil kunne være med til at give et overblik og status på et område, der gennem de sidste ti år har undergået store forandringer med e-tidsskrifter og Open Access. Konferencen vil byde på indlæg fra oplægsholdere fra bl.a. Research Information Network (RIN (http://www.rin.ac.uk/)) og Publishing Research Consortium (http://www.publishingresearch.net/)). Konferencen afholdes i Århus i Universitetsparken. I hvilket lokale oplyses senere. Konferencens program beskrives nedenfor. Conference on Research Publication Thursday, 28th of January, 2010, 10.00 - 16.00 The Faculty of Health Sciences at Aarhus University and the State & University Library celebrate the 100-years anniversary of the opening of "Fødselsanstalten i Jylland" and the 10-years anniversary of the opening of the Victor Albeck building as Health Sciences Library and Education Centre. In honour of the occasion a conference on research publication will be held with invited speakers, Sally Curry and Mark Ware, from Research Information Network (http://www.rin.ac.uk/) and Publishing Research Consortium (http://www.publishingresearch.net/), respectively, who will present different aspects of the present research publication landscape (e.g. the peer review system, research assessment and publication behaviour, rights of journal authors). A Danish perspective will be provided by Prof. Jens Christian Djurhuus.
