[vip-all] Interruption of cooling water supply in the basement

Dear all. There is a request from John Mahler (cc.) to have a few-hours interruption in the cooling water supply in our labs in the basement during one of the days up to Christmas. Please notify him, if this - as seen from your perspective - may not be done, and in that case when it may not be done. The idea is to use this 'semi-lockdown situation'/holidays with reduced activities to do a necessary search for a leak in the cooling water supply. If nobody objects before Thursday 17th at noon, John will sketch a plan for when the interruption will happen, and which labs/buildings it will affect. Thank you for your cooperation. Ulrik Ulrik I. Dear all Some information's about the leak! The leak will be on the primary cooling system, so all secondary systems will be running and maintaining flow and pressure. The cooling water is colored light green - let me know if you have seen cooling water We have a small leak off app 400L/day - so far we have isolated 1530-1550 (math.), 1130-1137 (Bio), 1510-1516 (Chem) and 1590-1593 (inano) - all on the same cooling system and without finding the leak. Based on the reply we received so far, we will do the interruption at one exchanger at the time. The interruption will last for max 2 hours We will contact you before we enter your area Regards Andreas & John John Mahler FM medarbejder Telefon: 2446 4735 E-mail: john.mahler@au.dk Nat-Tech Bygningsservice 2 Aarhus Universitet Gustav Wieds Vej 14 Bygning 1593, lok. 219 8000 Aarhus C [aulogo_dk_var2_blaa] Fra: Ulrik Ingerslev Uggerhøj <ulrik@phys.au.dk> Sendt: 15. december 2020 15:49 Til: #PHYS vip all <vip-all@phys.au.dk> Cc: Claus Grosen <cgr@phys.au.dk>; John Mahler <john.mahler@au.dk> Emne: Interruption of cooling water supply in the basement Dear all.
