[vip-all] CMCI Workshop: Agent based modelling for quantum optimization problems - 20 May 2015

Hi The AU network for Computational Modelling of complex interactions will have a workshop Wed. 20th May 09:15-15:00 in room 1525-626 about how agent based modelling can be applied to solve optimization problems in quantum mechanics. The aim of the workshop is to introduce agent based methods for solving complex optimization problems. We will present tools based on swarms of agents, on human agents and on artificial learning agents, predominantly through games developed by the Quantum Measurements and Manipulation group which can be found at scienceathome.org<http://scienceathome.org> If you would like to attend the workshop please contact me at madskock@phys.au.dk<mailto:madskock@phys.au.dk>. The tentative schedule for the workshop is as follows: 9:15-10:00 Introduction to quantum physics 10:00-11:30 Introduction to optimization problems 11:30-12:30 Lunch break 12:30-13:30 Particle swarm optimization 13:30-15:00 Using human or learning agents Best regards Mads Kock ******************************** Trine Binderup Department of Physics and Astronomy Aarhus University Ny Munkegade 120 DK-8000 Aarhus C e-mail: trine.binderup@phys.au.dk<mailto:trine.binderup@phys.au.dk> Phone: +45 8715 5587 Cell phone: +45 2338 2398 Office: 1525-420
