[vip-all] Party on 17 June - street closure and practical information

Dear colleagues As you are no doubt aware, AU is holding a party on Friday 17 June, and a certain amount of preparation is required. This can have an influence on your work environment on 17 June and the preceding few days. * Certain parking spaces will be used for delivery and storage, and these will therefore be blocked off from Wednesday 15 June. Bartholins Allé - from the Lakeside Lecture Theatres and northwards - form part of the contingency plan as a road for ambulances, and must therefore not be used for parking on 17 June. The closure area will be marked a few days before blocking off the parking spaces. * All roads into the University Park will be closed to traffic on Friday 17 June from 13.00. All road closures will be manned by marshals who will ensure that people on official business at the university can naturally drive in and out again. * Sound testing will be carried out in the University Park from 13.00 on the day of the party. The project management for the party has held discussions with those responsible for activities such as examinations and conferences that could be particularly inconvenienced by this. * The university's neighbours have been notified of the party and any related noise. This applies to private individuals, businesses, the State and University Library and museums. * This is a private party for staff and students at AU, and all entrances will therefore be manned by marshals who can request to see your ID card or key card. A summary of night and city bus services and alternative car parks is available at Celebration of Tomorrow's AU <http://medarbejdere.au.dk/en/tomorrowsau/celebration-of-tomorrows-aarhus-university/road-blocks-and-parking/> . A map of the area (in Danish only) shows the road closures, bus stops and taxi stands, as well as the drop-off and pick-up points for bus transport for colleagues who work outside the Aarhus Campus. We hope you have a really great party.
