Dear all, You are cordially invited to join this extraordinary CCQ seminar on "Diversity and Equal Opportunity in Academia" given by Dr. Barbara Tautz, Munich Center for Quantum Science and Technology (MCQST). To address this, CCQ would like to tap into and learn from the inspirational work that MCQST is making in the area of diversity and gender equality, and support the importance on addressing gender balance in academia, both in regard to leadership, workplace culture, recruitment, and career development. The seminar takes place on 18 August 2022, from 11:30-12:30 in Room 1525-626, where Barbara will give an online presentation (30 minutes) on their work on diversity in the Excellence Cluster "MCQST" featuring an introduction into the topic and an overview of challenges our community faces in this field. The talk will be followed be a moderated discussion session, in which Barbara will answer questions by the participants and prepared questions by the moderator, Associate Prof. Richard Schmidt.
