
Dear all, The Department will provide support in order to strengthen applications for the 2020 calls for DFF Sapere Aude Starting grants<https://dff.dk/en/application/call-for-proposals-2019-uk.pdf> and VILLUM Young Investigator grants<https://veluxfoundations.dk/en/call-villum-young-investigators-0>. This will include: Pitch sessions * The applicant will give a 5 min presentation of the project idea followed by 5-10 min of discussion/feedback. The Department Head, a VIP from within the research area and the scientific coordinator will be present at these sessions. * Pitch sessions are scheduled for Wednesday February 5 2020. Workshop on writing the application * 3-hour workshop with Mikkel Kongsbak from the Research Support Office * Scheduled for Wednesday February 19 2020. Feedback on proposals * Feedback on the almost finished proposal provided by members of the Research Committee * Regarding Sapere Aude: Deadline for submitting the proposal will be Wednesday March 11 2020 at noon. * More info on the process and deadlines for VILLUM Young Investigator is provided in the beginning of 2020.
