Dear Colleagues,
The Danish Physical Society is once again organizing the Annual Meeting which brings together physicists from institutes and research
groups across the country for two exciting days of plenary talks about the latest research, thematic parallel sessions, a poster session with prizes, as well as an opportunity to socialize and network.
The meeting will be held on 13th and 14th of November 2023 at Hotel Nyborg Strand, Østerøvej 2, 5800 Nyborg.
Invited keynote speakers are:
· Marco van Leeuwen, Professor at the Dutch National Institute for Subatomic Physics (NIKHEF) and spokesperson for the ALICE experiment
at CERN.
· Dorthe Dahl-Jensen, Professor at Center for Ice and Climate at the Niels Bohr Institute, University of Copenhagen.
· Manuel Meyer, Associate Professor at Institute for Physics, Chemistry and Pharmacy at University of Southern Denmark who does research
in the field of dark matter.
For young researchers and students in particular, the annual meeting is an excellent opportunity to present their work to their peers,
and we encourage anyone interested to submit an abstract for a short presentation or a poster. Submissions are welcome in all fields of physics. Cash prizes will be awarded to the best poster presentations and the winners will be presented on our social media
as well as in Kvant.
The organizing committee will do their best to put together a program that ensures that everyone who would like to present their work
as an oral contribution will get the chance to do so.
Registration is open until 10th September 2023.
Abstracts must be submitted no later than 13th October 2023.
All information about the meeting can be found on our website:
