Dear group leaders at iNANO, Chemistry, Geoscience and Physics and Astronomy.

It is time to start the planning of the Student/Research Group Matchmaking Event which takes place Friday 20 September 2019 at 13.30-17.00.

The purpose of the event is for the students to gain insight into the research and activities of the different groups and to get inspired and maybe find a supervisor for their Bachelor or Master projects. iNANO, Chemistry, Geoscience and Physics & Astronomy will host a joint poster session taking place at all 4 locations where you have the opportunity to bring a general poster about your group activities.

Like last year we will make a booklet which will be distributed among the students the week before the event. In the booklet the students can read about the different research groups (keywords and links to group webpages) and it will be written where they can meet the groups (Chemistry, iNANO, Geoscience or Physics & Astronomy) at the Matchmaking Event.

The booklet from last year is attached to this email so that you can see if your information needs to be updated.

The departments would like to assist with printing of the posters (A0, ordinary paper) – please indicate your interest in the form and we will get back to you with more information.

Deadline is 1 September to give us time to make and distribute the booklet.

We strongly encourage all groups to participate as it has been a great success the last couple of years.
