Som følge af AU’s Open Access politik, bedes du tage stilling til, hvorvidt du ønsker, at AU Library skal hjælpe med at undersøge hvilke af dine publikationer på den vedhæftede liste, der kan gøres Open Access.

 

Listen indeholder de publikationer, hvor AU Library mener, at der er et potentiale for, at vi kan gøre det Accepterede Manuskript tilgængelig i Pure. Der er også en række publikationer, som vi allerede har været igennem eller er ved at gennemgå. Dette drejer sig blandt andet om publikationer med CC-licenser og publikationer, der er uploadet i et anerkendt eksternt repository. Disse vil derfor ikke fremgå af listerne. 

 

Hvis du ønsker dette skal du gøre følgende:

  1. Åben den vedhæftede liste (pivot-fanen), find dit institut, find dit navn og tryk på det lille kryds ved siden af.
  2. Vælg de af dine publikationer, du ønsker vi skal se på.
  3. Udfyld OA Submission Form – én gang pr. artikel.
  4. Upload det Accepterede Manuskript** af din artikel til Formularen.
  5. Tryk ”indsend din publikation”.

AU Library undersøger herefter de regler, der gør sig gældende for din artikel og, hvis muligt, uploades artiklen i Pure.

Deadline for dette er sat til den 31. december 2022.

*Udfyld formularen en gang for hver artikel.

** Et accepteret manuskript er som oftest defineret som den version af din artikel, der har været gennem peer review, og har fået tilføjet de rettelser, der måtte gøre, at den accepteres af forlaget til udgivelse, men inden at forlaget har tilføjet typografi på artiklen. Indholdet er derfor lig den færdig udgivne version, men det accepterede manuskript vil normalvis adskille sig i udseende. Accepterede manuskripter benævnes også som Accepted Manuscript, Post-Print, Accepted Draft, Accepted Version, Version 2, Author Accepted Manuscript, Author Manuscript.

 

Grundede tidligere spørgsmål til listernes udformning, er nedenstående forklaringer medtaget:

Listerne laves ud fra testhøsts fra Open Access Indikatoren, og beriges med relevant data fra Sherpa Romeo og Pure.

Da det drejer som publikationer fra 2021 med varierende datakvalitet, er det ikke sikkert at alle personer på listerne er korrekte, og disse kan ignoreres. De optræder på listen, fordi de optræder på publikationerne med tilhørsforhold til AU, og der tages ikke hensyn til om de stadig er ansat eller deres ansættelses forhold på tidspunktet.

Publikationer kan optræde under flere personer, hvis publikationen har flere forfattere fra AU. Der er kun en forfatter der behøver at sende en fil ind, men det gør intet hvis der sendes flere ind.

 

 

Because of AU’s Open Access policy, you are asked to consider whether you want AU Library to help look into, if your publications on the attached list can become Open Access.

 

The list contains the publications where we believe there is the potential, that we can make the Accepted Manuscript available in Pure. There is also a range of publications that we have already looked at or are in the process of looking at. For instance, publication with CC-licenses or publications that have been uploaded in recognized external repositories. These publications are therefore not on the list.

 

If you want us to look into it, please do the following:

  1. Open the attached list, find your institute, find your name, and press the little plus sign by it (alphabetically after author first name).
  2. Chose the publications you want us to look into.
  3. Fill out the OA Submission Form*.
  4. Upload the Accepted Manuscript** of your article to the Formula.
  5. Press, “Submit your publication”.

AU Library will then check the rules that apply to your article and, if possible, upload the article in Pure.

 

The deadline for you to upload your articles through the formula has been set to 31st of december 2022.

*Fill out the formula once for each article.

** An accepted manuscript is an article or other publication that is accepted for publication; i.e. after peer review and the author's inclusion of any corrections and additions. An accepted manuscript is thus, content-wise, substantively similar to the finished publication, but will often differ from it in typography and layout. It can also be called accepted version, accepted draft, Version 2, Author Accepted Manuscript, Author Manuscript or similar.

 

Because of previous questions about the way the lists are made, some explanations are below:

The lists are made from the test harvests of the Open Access Indicator, and enriched with relevant data from Sherpa Romeo and Pure.

As we are talking about publications from 2021 with varying data quality, it is not certain that all persons on the list are correct, and these can be ignored. They are added to the list because they are on the publications post in Pure with an affiliation to AU, and whether or not they are still employed by AU at this time, is not factored in.

The same publications can occur under multiple persons, if the publication has several authors from AU. Only one author needs to send in a file, but if multiple do so, it is not a problem.
