Høring af fakultetets strategi 

På vegne af Fakultetsledelsen sendes hermed fakultetets strategi i høring.  

Strategien tager sit afsæt i AU´s strategi, og fakultetsledelsen har identificeret fire indsatsområder, der skal sikre, at Nat kan bidrage til AU´s strategi. Strategien er opbygget med en kernefortælling (hvem er vi?), målsætninger (hvad vil vi?) og en række konkrete initiativer (hvordan gør vi?).  

Strategien er blevet til på baggrund af en omfattende bottom up proces, hvor mange af jer har bidraget aktivt. Vi har afholdt workshops på alle institutter, vi har afholdt fokusgrupper for forskellige medarbejdergrupper, ligesom vi også har talt med eksterne interessenter.  

Målet med strategien er i endnu højere grad at kunne bidrage med ny viden og at bidrage til at løse aktuelle samfundsudfordringer gennem forskning og uddannelse af højeste kvalitet og gennem samarbejde med det omgivende samfund. Strategien udvælger eller prioriterer ikke særlige fagområder, men den skal skabe grundlaget for at forskere, undervisere og studerende kan bidrage til at skabe ny viden og løsninger, uanset om der er tale om uddannelse af kandidater med STEM og digitale kompetencer, eller bidrage med viden til den grønne omstilling, bekæmpelse af klimaforandringer, digital transformation, infektionssygdomme eller andre samfundsmæssige udfordringer. 

Med denne høring ønsker fakultetsledelsen særligt  

· Kommentarer og forslag til kernefortællingen og målsætninger/initiativer 

· Hvad er de vigtigste initiativer, som vi skal igangsætte i 2021 og 2022? 

Høringsfristen er fredag den 12/3 2021 kl. 12. Jeres høringssvar bedes sendt til dean.nat@au.dk.  

Vedr. høring af de studerende vil der blive afholdt et online stormøde for studerende (annonceres snarest).

Consultation on the faculty's strategy

The faculty management team is inviting responses to a consultation on the faculty's strategy. 

The strategy is based on AU's strategy and the faculty management team has identified four focus areas to ensure that Nat can contribute to AU's strategy. The strategy is structured with a core narrative (who are we?), objectives (what do we want?) and a number of specific initiatives (how will we do it?). 

The strategy has been prepared based on a comprehensive bottom-up process, to which many of you have contributed actively. We have conducted workshops at all departments, focus groups for different staff groups, and we have talked to external stakeholders. 

The aim of the strategy is to be able to contribute even more with new knowledge and to contribute to solving current societal challenges through research and education of the highest quality and through collaboration with the surrounding society. The strategy does not identify or prioritise specific fields but has been designed to ensure that researchers, teaching staff and students can contribute to creating new knowledge and solutions; whether in the context of producing graduates with STEM and digital competences, or contributing knowledge to the green transition, combat climate change, digital transformation, infectious diseases, and other societal challenges.

With this consultation, the faculty management team is inviting 

· Comments and suggestions for the core narrative and objectives/initiatives

· What are the most important initiatives we need to initiate in 2021 and 2022?

The deadline for submitting responses is Friday 12 March 2021 at 12:00 noon. Please send your consultation response to dean.nat@au.dk. 

Regarding the consultation with students, an online general meeting for students will be held (to be announced as soon as possible).
