In an effort to raise the participation and interest of IFA’s younger members in the Ole Rømer Colloquium, the invitation and advertisement to attend the colloquium will be extended to all students.

In addition, there will be a ~30min session right after the talk, where PhD and MSc students can meet and discuss with the speaker (e.g., scientific and career related issues). Following a test run during this semester, the intention is to eventually integrate the colloquium into the PhD curriculum, aiming to add a socially attractive and scientifically broad component to the study plan. More specifically, starting in 2020, the aim is that students will be given the opportunity to earn ECTS points through participation in the colloquium talks and such meetings (and one summarizing report per colloquium series).

In order to make this initiative a success, we would like to call for your support and ask you to actively encourage your students and all other group members to attend and participate in the Ole Rømer Colloquia.
