Tirsdag den 21. juni kl. 12.00 holder vi indvielse af AMO-line ved ASTRID2 med den tilhørende XRING end-station [http://phys.au.dk/fileadmin/_processed_/csm_AMO-line_indvielse_e831920f11.jp...] Vi vil gerne fejre ibrugtagningen af vores nye samlede laboratorium til studier af VUV fysik af molekylære systemer. AMOLine og XRING er to store opstillinger, der gennem de seneste år er opbygget i forbindelse med ASTRID2 projektet. AMO-line opstillingen danner højenergetisk lys via en såkaldt ondulator, hvorefter lyset ledes gennem en monokromator (udvælger bølgelægden) og fokusses inde i XRING laboratoriet. XRING laboratoriet indeholder to komplementære opstillinger dedikeret til studier af VUV fysik af atomare og molekylære systemer. Indvielsen af laboratorierne foregår "on-location" i området ved AMO-line bag ASTRID2 over mod Kemisk Institut. Der serveres en let frokost og et glas. Med venlig hilsen Henrik B. Andersen, Søren Pape Møller **** Tuesday, 21 June at 12.00 noon we will have an inauguration of the AMO-line at ASTRID2 and the connected XRING end-station [http://phys.au.dk/fileadmin/_processed_/csm_AMO-line_indvielse_e831920f11.jp...] We would like to celebrate that our new complete laboratory for studies of VUV physics of molecular systems is now in use. The AMOLine and the XRING are two large installation, that have been constructed during the last couple of years in connection with the ASTRID2 project. The AMO-line setup produces high-energy light from a so-called undulator whereafter the light is directed through a monochromator (selects the wavelength) and is focussed in the XRING laboratory. The XRING laboratory holds two complementary setups dedicated to the studies of VUV physics of atomic and molecular systems. The inauguration of the laboratories takes place "on-location" in the area around the AMO-line behind ASTRID2, close to the Department of Chemistry. A light lunch as well as a glass will be served.
