Angående Linux login-maskinerne (lifa):

Login-maskinerne med fællesbetegnelsen 'lifa' er nu blevet genskabt på virtuel teknologi. De 3 gamle maskiner havde de individuelle navne lifa01, lifa02 og lifa03. Alias'et 'lifa' er nu blevet ændret til at pege på de 3 nye maskiner. De nye maskiner har de individuelle navne vlifa01, vlifa02 og vlifa03.

Hvis du har jobs kørende på de gamle maskiner kan du stadig logge ind på dem via deres gamle individuelle navne (lifa01, lifa02 eller lifa03).

Du bedes dog venligst bruge de nye maskiner for frem- tiden. De gamle maskiner vil blive lukket ned efter- hånden som trafikken på dem dør ud.

De nye maskiner kan kun nås via sikre protokoller (ssh, sftp etc.).

Regarding the Linux login machines (lifa):

The login machines with the common name 'lifa' have been re-created on virtual technology. The 3 old machines bore the individual names lifa01, lifa02 and lifa03. The alias 'lifa' has been changed to point to the 3 new machines. The new machines bear the names vlifa01, vlifa02 og vlifa03.

In case you have jobs running on the old machines you may still login to them using their old individual names (lifa01, lifa02 eller lifa03).

We kindly suggest that you use the new machines for the future. The old machines will be closed down as the traffic on them dies out.

The new machines can only be reached using secure protocols (ssh, sftp etc.).
