Kære alle

AU har  fået en ny grøn laboratorieguide, som indeholder konkrete forslag til en række CO₂-reducerende tiltag i AU’s laboratorier. Vi vil fra ledelsens side opfordre til, at I sætter jer ind i guidens anbefalinger og vurderer, om og hvordan der er potentiale for at understøtte en grønnere hverdag i jeres laboratorier.

Guiden er inddelt i fire forskellige temaer: Energi, kemikalier, gasser og affald og kan læses på m.au.dk/grønguidelab

Den grønne laboratorieguide er udarbejdet af en bredt sammensat arbejdsgruppe med bl.a. laboranter, driftsfolk og arbejdsmiljørepræsentanter som et led i Aarhus Universitets Klimahandleplan i 2022. Siden foråret har arbejdsgruppen indsamlet input, afprøvet antagelser og nedskrevet anbefalinger til, hvordan vi med nogle enkle greb kan gøre AU’s laboratorier endnu mere klimavenlige.

Laboratorieguiden er behandlet og godkendt af fakultetsledelserne på Natural Sciences, Technical Sciences og Health.

Hvis I har konkrete spørgsmål til guidens anbefalinger, er I velkommen til at tage fat i Morten Dam Rasmussen, som er arbejdsmiljøleder og formand i arbejdsgruppen for CO₂-reduktion i laboratorier på AU.

AU has a new Green Guide with specific suggestions for a number of carbon-reduction initiatives in AU's laboratories. We would like to encourage you to read the recommendations in the guide and decide whether and how you could contribute to a greener environment in your laboratories.

The guide is divided into four different themes: Energy, chemicals, gases and waste, and it is available at m.au.dk/en/greenguidelab

The Green Guide was prepared by a broadly based working group including laboratory technicians, operational staff and occupational health and safety representatives, and it is part of the Aarhus University Climate Action Plan 2022. Since the spring, the working group has gathered input, tested assumptions and written recommendations for how, through some very simple actions, we can make laboratories at AU even more climate-friendly.

The Green Guide for laboratories has been discussed and approved by the faculty management teams at Natural Sciences, Technical Sciences and Health.

If you have specific questions about the recommendations in the guide, you are welcome to contact Morten Dam Rasmussen, who is the occupational health and safety manager and the chair of the working group for carbon reduction in laboratories at AU.
