The next of our regular ASTRID User meetings will be held Thursday and Friday of this week. Please see http://www.isa.au.dk/meetings/isausers10/ and the programme listed on the boards at the elevator.

This meeting is a really good opportunity to hear about the ASTRID2 synchrotron storage ring soon to be under construction at IFA/ISA. There are a number of other talks too, which many of you may find of interest. These span a wide range of topics such as the controversial theme of droplet formation in the atmosphere through charge particle interactions (relating to experiments to be carried out at ASTRID next week), nanotechnology applications in catalysis, new experimental results from the free electron laser FLASH, fundamental studies of the proton-to-electron mass ratio and a description of the new physical phenomenon of spontaneous surface charging discovered at ASTRID.

You are very welcome to turn up for sessions, parts of sessions or whatever at the Aarhus Conference centre.
