Dear Colleagues, The Danish Physical Society (DFS, dfs.nbi.dk) organizes a special yearly meeting June 6-7 this year at Fænø Park in Middelfart - the deadline for registration and abstract submission is April 21. The plan for this year's meeting is to highlight young(-ish) scientists in the Danish Physics community, and there will be a diverse range of invited talks by "rising stars" from the Danish universities. In addition to these talks, there will be ample time for contributed presentations and as always, there will also be at least one, maybe two, poster sessions (with refreshments, of course, to help the scientific discussions along!). With this setup, the meeting is a great opportunity for everyone, but in particular Postdocs, PhD- and M.Sc.-students, to present their work and their projects, and the best presenters compete for cash prices of 5000 DKK and 3000 DKK for the best talk and the best poster presentation, respectively! The price for participation is only 1300 DKK for members of DFS, and 1700 DKK for non-members - and this price includes accommodation, 2* lunch, breakfast and dinner as well as the conference fee. Further, there are 10 stipends for MSc.-students that present either a poster or a talk!
