Dear all. You have previously expressed interest in this meeting, which I unfortunately have to reschedule. Ulrik If you are not a former/present/coming user of either the 5 MeV facility or the 400 keV accelerator, this e-mail/meeting invitation is probably not for you. The effort spent – in money and manpower - in keeping the 5 MeV and/or the 400 keV machines up and running does not seem to be justified by the scientific nor educational output, and I therefore consider what should be done when one of these machines is/becomes non-operational and an evaluation shows that there is no easy/cheap fix. This meeting is for everyone to have a chance to forward strong scientific and/or educational arguments for keeping these machines up and running following breakdown. Feel free to forward this invitation to anyone interested whom I have forgotten to include. At the time of writing, the 5 MeV is operational, while the 400 keV is not, and will not be before this meeting. Ulrik
