Kære studerende  

I maj 2025 får alle AU’s studerende adgang til nye muligheder i Microsoft 365-pakken. I den forbindelse får du bl.a. en ny mailløsning og adgang til Teams. Det sker for at give dig og dine medstuderende en bedre og mere tidssvarende digital platform til studiearbejdet.   

Den nye mailløsning betyder at, din AU-mail flytter fra det nuværende mailsystem post.au.dk til Microsoft Exchange (Outlook). 

Det skal du vide om flytningen af din AU-mail:

• I begyndelsen af maj kan du tage din nye mailboks i brug. Vi giver dig besked, når den er klar via banner på post.au.dk, Brightspace og Mitstudie. 

• Du beholder den samme mailadresse som nu, og du kan stadig tilgå dine mails fra Mitstudie. 

• Du skal fortsat bruge post.au.dk, indtil du får besked om andet.  

Hvad sker der med mine mails fra post.au.dk?

• Indhold fra post.au.dk bliver for langt de fleste automatisk flyttet til din nye mailboks. Det sker i løbet af maj og juni, når din nye mailboks er blevet oprettet. Indtil dit indhold er blevet flyttet, kan du stadig finde alle dine gamle mails i post.au.dk. 

• Hvis din post.au.dk-mailboks indeholder for store mails, eller din samlede mailboks er for stor, skal du rydde op i den, før dine mails kan blive flyttet. Du får direkte besked på din AU-mail og Mitstudie, hvis det gælder dig.

Du vil løbende få mere information om Teams og de andre værktøjer i Microsoft 365. Du får bl.a. adgang til en vejledningsside, som løbende bliver udbygget med tips og tricks til, hvordan du bedst bruger værktøjerne i forbindelse med dit studie.

Dear student, 

In May, all students at AU will get access to new useful applications in the Microsoft 365 package. As a consequence of the change, your email is moved, and you will get access access to Teams. We’re making this change to provide you and your fellow students with a more up-to-date digital platform to support you in your studies. 

The new email solution means that your AU email account will move from post.au.dk to Microsoft Exchange (Outlook).

What you need to know about your new AU mailbox

• You can start using your new Outlook mailbox in early May. We'll let you know when it's ready. We’ll post this information on banners on post.au.dk as well as in Brightspace and Mitstudie (mystudies.au.dk).

• Your email address will remain the same and you will still be able to access your emails through Mitstudie (mystudies.au.dk).

• You should continue to use post.au.dk until further notice. 

What will happen to my emails from post.au.dk?

• In the majority of cases, emails from post.au.dk will be moved to your new mailbox automatically. This will happen in May and June, after your new mailbox has been set up. You’ll be able to access your old mails at post.au.dk until we move them to the new platform.

• However, if you have mails that are too large to move in your post.au.dk mailbox, or if your mailbox is too full, you will need to clean up your mailbox before we can move it to Outlook. We’ll contact you directly at your AU email address and on Mitstudie (mystudies.au.dk) if you need to clean up your mailbox.

We’ll be sending you more information about Teams and the other tools in the Microsoft 365 package. We’ll also give you access to a how-to site where you’ll find useful tips on how to use Microsoft 365 tools in connection with your studies.
