Don’t miss out – Join us for QCA Annual Meeting 2025!
Dear Quantum Campus Aarhus Community, The QCA Annual Meeting 2025 is just around the corner – and if you haven’t registered yet, now is the time. Date: Tuesday, 9 December 2025 Time: 12:30–17:00 Location: iNANO Auditorium, Aarhus University Admission: Free (registration required - <https://event.au.dk/events/qca-annual-meeting-2025> deadline is 1 December 2025<https://event.au.dk/events/qca-annual-meeting-2025>) This half-day event gathers researchers, students, and industry professionals from across AU to explore current directions in quantum research, innovation, and collaboration. Programme highlights include: * Keynote by Peter Lodahl, Professor at the Niels Bohr Institute and founder of Sparrow Quantum. Lodahl is a leading figure in photonic quantum technologies and quantum network research, and will share insights from both his academic and entrepreneurial journey. * Research highlight by Simon Wall (Associate Professor, PHYS): Controlling Quantum Materials with Ultrafast Light – how X-ray lasers can reveal hidden dynamics in quantum materials and help us understand transient states such as light-induced superconductivity. * Research highlight by Artem Volosniev (Associate Professor, PHYS): Exactly Solvable Models in Strongly Interacting Quantum Mechanics – exploring elegant theoretical models that offer deep insights into complex many-body quantum systems. * Industry highlight by Allan Grønlund, CTO and co-founder of Kvantify, a Danish quantum software company. Grønlund will discuss practical advances in quantum algorithm design and how Denmark is shaping the future of applied quantum computing. * Panel debate: Strategic Quantum Funding in Denmark Featuring: * Nikolaj Zinner, Professor at Department of Physics and Astronomy (AU), CSO at Kvantify, and chair of the Danish Quantum Community (DQC). * Morten Bache, Morten Bache, Scientific Director for Quantum Technologies at the Novo Nordisk Foundation, where he leads one of the largest philanthropic quantum funding initiatives in Europe. * Moderated by Poul Nissen, Vice Dean at Faculty of Natural Sciences * Poster session throughout the event, including during the coffee breaks and the final networking session with drinks, snacks, and pizza. ➡️ Full programme and registration here: https://projects.au.dk/quantum/news-and-events/item/artikel/quantum-campus-aarhus-annual-meeting-2025<https://projects.au.dk/quantum/news-and-events/item/artikel/quantum-campus-aarhus-annual-meeting-2025?utm_source=chatgpt.com> Feel free to forward this invitation to colleagues who may not yet be part of the QCA mailing list.
