QCA News

• QUBITS Seminar by Karen Barad postponed to fall 2025

• Please note that the QUBITS seminar with Prof. Karen Barad, originally scheduled for April 28, has been postponed to Fall 2025. We look forward to welcoming her later in the year.
• The next QUBITS seminar will be given by Prof. Kasper Green Larsen on May 19 – save the date!
• Hosting a quantum-related talk at AU? Let us know so we can promote it through QCA and perhaps as a QUBITS seminar.

• Delegation trip to the LUMI-Q consortium’s quantum computer

• Would you be interested in visiting the LUMI-Q consortium’s quantum computer in Czech Republic? DeiC offers to cover flights and hotel costs for 1–2 AU representatives.

• Note: Participation is intended for those who expect to use LUMI-Q and Q-Access services.

• Indicate your interest in participating by emailing lrlp@inano.au.dk as soon as possible and before May 7. See attached document for more information.

• Quantum Korea 2025 (Seoul) and Quantum Innovation 2025 (Osaka)

• Let us know if you plan to attend, so AU representation can be visibly represented! Invest in Denmark is preparing for Danish participation.

• New Platform for professional matchmaking for Danish-Swiss quantum research

• Webinar on May 6, 2025
• Registration open until May 26, 2025 (Read more and register)

• Quantum Industry Day on May 28, 2025

• Join leading companies and researchers at the Quantum Industry Day, organised by DQC. The event focuses on collaboration between industry and academia in quantum technology – registration is free and open now.

• New report on the Danish quantum ecosystem

• Force Technology together with DFM (Danish National Metrology Institute) have published a new report examining how Danish industry is engaging with quantum technology. Some of the key take aways are summarized by DQC here.

• New Danish quantum ecosystem map

• A Danish Quantum Ecosystem Map has been developed and recently published by the Danish Business Authority in collaboration with Danish Quantum Community. It is an interactive tool that provides an overview of Denmark’s current quantum landscape.

Funding Opportunities

DeiC:

• Deadline for Applications: April 30, 2025.
• 6 million DKK allocated for educational activities in quantum computing.
• Apply for funds here.

JST's ASPIRE 2025 Alignment Call for Proposals

• Supports international collaboration on cutting-edge quantum research.

• Note: In 2024 four joint applications with Danish researchers were accepted in the ASPIRE Alignment Call, one of which is in the area of quantum research between Ulrik Lund Andersen, DTU and Prof. Takeoka, Keio University.
• Deadline for Applications: May 12, 2025.
