“Non-classical Frequency Combs and Spectral Processing for Quantum Networks”
Date: November 24, 2025
Time: 14:15–16:00
Location: Auditorium G2
(1532-122)
Format: 45-minute talk followed by discussion and refreshments

ABSTRACT
This talk presents recent progress in quantum photonic integrated circuits (QPICs) as a promising route to scalable quantum technologies. Michael Kues will highlight results on the generation of non-classical states of light, including
biphoton frequency combs and high-dimensional entangled quantum states. He will also introduce novel QPIC-based spectral processing schemes that enable manipulation of these frequency-encoded states. The talk will discuss their potential for high-dimensional
quantum information processing and long-distance quantum communication.
