• DQC Scientific Quantum Conference 2026 @ Aalborg university
• Registration is open — please consider signing up and sharing with colleagues and students across AU. The programme includes several Aarhus University speakers, including Jaco van de Pol (NAT), Sarang Dalal (HEALTH), and Emil Ulsig (TECH/Qversion). Find details/registration here.
• Build science communication skills (Leiden summer school, July 2026)
• If you are interested in science communication and want to improve, please check this out—we need strong communicators for quantum research. The one-week summer school is open to researchers at all career stages who are relatively new to science communication (all disciplines welcome). Registration closes 29 Mar 2026. Find details here.
• Call for papers: Building Quantum Futures – Sociotechnical Visions and Their Implications (workshop at AU, 8–9 Jun 2026)
• The Centre for Science Studies invites abstracts (max 300 words) on quantum imaginaries and their ethical/political/societal implications for an international workshop at Aarhus University (8–9 Jun 2026). Submit by 15 Apr 2026. Read more here.
• DQC partner visit to Microsoft – 17 Mar 2026 (14:00–16:00), Lyngby
• Danish Quantum Community invites DQC partners to a visit at Microsoft Denmark (MDCC) incl. an introduction to Microsoft Quantum and a tour of the recently opened Quantum Lab. Read more here.
• Niels Bohr Quantum Summer School 2026 (Odense, 10–21 Aug 2026)
• A national initiative under Denmark’s National Quantum Strategy bringing together Danish and international PhD students for an intensive two-week programme in quantum science and technology (hosted by the Centre for Quantum Mathematics, SDU, in Odense). Register / application details here.

Innovation Fund Denmark: Grand Solutions 2026 – Quantum Technologies

• Funding for ambitious projects strengthening Danish positions of strength in quantum technologies (two-phase application).

NordForsk: 2026 International Joint Initiative for Research Harnessing Disruptive Technologies to Address Global Challenges (NFRF + NordForsk)

• This call supports international, interdisciplinary and transformative projects using disruptive technologies to address major global challenges and accelerate progress toward the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
• Deadlines: NOI (March 3, 2026), LOI (9 Jun 2026), Full application (3 Nov 2026).
• NordForsk finances Nordic participants (projects must include partners from at least two Nordic countries; one Nordic team member must be Co-PI).

NNF: Data Science Collaborative Research Programme 2026

• Collaborative research programme supporting interdisciplinary data science projects anchored at Danish research institutions (up to DKK 40 million per grant).

QuNorth Flagship programme – access to MAGNE is open (call open until 12 Jun, 2026)

• QuNorth has launched its Flagship Programme and will jointly select up to three teams for a structured support programme, including early/exclusive access to MAGNE (Denmark’s national quantum computing facility).
