MEG Nord 2025 in Aarhus – includes quantum-sensor session (OPM-MEG)

MEG Nord 2025 will be held 26–28 November in Aarhus (AUH & Navitas) and marks the opening of CFIN’s new OPM-MEG lab. The programme includes a dedicated quantum-sensor track focused on optically pumped magnetometers (OPM-MEG).

New national talent-attraction initiative promotes Danish quantum research

The national visibility initiative Science Hub Denmark now includes
Quantum
as a focus area, with support from the Novo Nordisk Foundation. Activities will promote Danish quantum research and careers internationally, including campaigns and

Launch of a new Quantum Software Team led by
Prof. Jaco van de Pol, focusing on design automation for quantum programs—compilation, verification,
and simulation—aimed at pushing quantum software beyond today’s NISQ limitations.
