Dear Lab Users,

This morning -the day after the Lab User Meeting where we talked about proper cleaning and waste handling- some of our colleagues were met with very poor cleaning standards.
In Cell Lab, one of the small yellow waste baskets was filled to the brim. Furthermore, a bottle from 70% ethanol was thrown out in the regular blue trash. Again, we talked about plastic sorting yesterday morning...
In the main lab, the fume hood was a mess, as you can see below. -It has apparently become storage for extra 1,5 ml tubes and (a lot of) pipette tips, as well as home to plastic waste, that should be thrown out only 5-10 steps away. The fume hoods and flow benches should always be left with as little stuff as possible inside, so you have room to work safely.

Please(!) remember to clean up after yourselves!

Best,
Johanne
