Plant-PATH Pulse No 1: Follow up
Hi everyone Once again, thank you all for participating in our very first Pulse meeting! I would appreciate any feedback that you are willing to share, so that I can improve the format of the meetings. As Bjørn mentioned, we are keen to make sure that these meetings are above all useful and not just another burden on your schedules, so your input is essential! My plan for the next meeting on 26 February is to replace the short "what's new in your group" talks with one presentation focusing on skills/methods. @Lorena Zuzic<mailto:lorena.zuzic@mbg.au.dk> has kindly offered to share her knowledge regarding molecular dynamics simulations in a plant membrane context at Pulse meeting No 2. Here is a short summary of what was discussed at the end of today's meeting (if you would like to share anything else, feel free to "reply all" to this email): * Chloé reminded everyone that if they have a particular interest in HDX to get in touch and potentially arrange a visit * Bjørn LA mentioned a review by David Drew that could be of interest for many of us: https://pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/acs.chemrev.0c00983 * @Ulrich Hammes<mailto:ulrich.hammes@uni-wuerzburg.de> has kindly agreed to provide a series of lectures/conversations on plant physiology, so more details will follow Finally, could those of you who provided talks today please share your slides with me? I will then upload them to our Teams channel so they can be accessed by all.
