Hey Everyone
When we receive antibodies and other small volume reagents, it is not always clear how they are being used. Therefore my default action is to place it at the correct temperature in the little ziplock bag it comes in. When you use it for
the first time, please discard the bag and place the reagent at its correct location.
Example: We just received Somastostatin, the datasheet says to store it at -20, so that’s where I have placed it. This means that when Jens is looking for it, it is very easy to find in its ziplock bag. When Jens have used it for the first
time, he will mark the tube with the correct number from our antibody datasheet. (19 in this case). Jens will then place it with the other antibodies so later users can also locate it.
If the antibody needs to be aliquoted, diluted or otherwise treated, please let me know.
