Hey Everyone

The basic surgery disinfection wipes we currently use are 82% ethanol 0.5% Chlorhexidine and costs 70dkk (for 50)

AU has an agreement with a company that can deliver another brand, which is only 75% ethanol. (still 0.5% Chlorhexidine) for 10DKK (for 50)

Does anyone have a good argument (scientific or otherwise) for why should NOT swap to the cheaper wipes?

As far as I remember 70% - 75% is optimal for killing bacteria, and higher concentrations being more for RNA work.
