There will potentially be a work-environmental inspection on Thursday, as ‘Miljøstyrelsen’ will be visiting the department.
As always remember to keep the guidelines for GMOI laboratory practice - remember to wear a lab coat in the lab, gloves, and clean-up after yourself (like we always do - but maybe a little better on Thursday 😉).
If in doubt about lab-practices, I can recommend asking Bjarke for advice 😊
Importantly: If asked you all should know where to find our safety procedures/risk assessments in the Klawonn-group folder. The folder is called ‘Standard Operating Procedures’ and there you find individual risk assessments included in the SOPs that requires them, e.g. Cardiac Perfusions (we use PFA), stereotaxic viral injections, Tamoxifen injections etc.
Besides that, I think we should be okay.

The Danish Environmental Protection Agency (Miljøstyrelsen) will be visiting on Thursday, November 6th.
You should, of course, always work according to the current GMO regulations, but on that day please be extra careful to follow these rules — and remember to wear your lab coats.
