Title: Smart Augmented Reality with Scene Understanding Abstract: With the rise of extremely powerful tools, it becomes increasingly clear that we need human-centered artificial intelligence, where the human is in control. Away from the conventional computer desktop, augmented reality is the most promising interface for this purpose. This talk discusses how scene understanding can inform augmented reality interfaces that are adaptive to a mobile user and work in unprepared environments. A special focus is given on software frameworks and application areas.
