I discovered (with the help of Naomi and Kathy) that there may be problems with receiving the e-mail I send with the paper outline etc. I here try to send with a mailing-list-method and hope it arrives safely. You do not have to read these in great detail but please skim through (maybe after reading the manuscript file) so you know the foundation of the product we aim to produce. I can only see response on attendance from Christina, Lonneke, Fiona, Eleanor and Paul in the teams meeting so please make sure that the rest of you accept the meeting so you are able to join when we start. We would like you all to reflect on the following regarding the provisionary headline in our paper “How to do grief therapy – expert based recommendations for clinical practice”: Please consider what themes you find relevant regarding the below: “What would a therapist who should work with treating PGD (for the first time) need to know/what are the best steps to take when planning and performing treatment of PGD?” Potential themes to make recommendations for: Different age groups and loss types Cultural difference Co-occurrent disorders (PTSD and depression) Dual diagnosis (alcohol and drug use) Harmful effects of therapy Dos and don’ts Medication/Psychopharmacotherapy Physical grief reactions (body and brain) ….. 1. We have had some challenges getting the Risk of Bias evaluation up and running as this is time-consuming work that is best done in a team that can meet face to face for training raters combined with limited resources available. My suggestion is that we invite Katrine Komischke-Konnerup (PhD student and author of the CBT meta-analysis) in to run the process with Lene and a student assistant here at AU as co-raters. I suggest that we offer Katrine a co-authorship for this job. Please let me know ASAP if there are any objections to this. I am looking forward to the next series of meetings but only received reply from some of you. The meetings are set for 26.2.; 2.4.; 23.4.; 14.5.; 28.5. We aim to have a rough draft of the first part of the paper ready for you a few days before our next meeting on February 26th. I send out Teams invitations for the meetings this spring. The dates are: 26.2.; 2.4.; 23.4.; 14.5.; 28.5. Please accept all dates in the Teams invites if in any way possible for you. I will send the paper draft and an agenda before the next meeting. I would also like to take this opportunity to express my sympathy for any of you that are affected by the drawback on state grants in the U.S. This is a terrible and very foolish choice to make of government.
