The iGEM team 2026

AUNAB is hosting 11 motivated students across Molecular Biology, Nanoscience, Computer Science and Medicinal Chemistry who will be competing in iGEM (International Genetically Engineered Machine competition) 2026. You can read more about the team and their journey here. 

Bio-Inspired Nanomotors in Artificial Cells
Aktuel Naturvidenskab has written a popular science article about the latest work of Miguel Ramos-Docampo and AUNAB steering committee member Brigitte Städler. The article is based on their ACS publication “Actin Polymerizing Motors to Assist Cytoskeleton-like Networks Formation in Artificial Cells” which you can find here.

AUNAB hosted a gamified grant writing workshop

On March 4th AUNAB tested a new initiative by hosting a gamified grant writing workshop facilitated by Dr. Rajiv Basaiawmoit. At the event 3 interdisciplinary teams of senior AUNAB researchers participated and the feedback has been very positive.
