AUNAB and AUSBI is co-hosting this event to bring together researchers from across AU to exchange knowledge, discuss key techniques, and explore potential collaborations in the field of biomolecular design. Student team for iGEM competition AUNAB is assembling a student team to participate in the International Genetically Engineered Machine (iGEM<https://igem.org/>) Competition 2026. Below is an overview of the timeline - from launching the student team in January to participating in the Grand Jamboree in Paris in October. [The iGEM Cycle: How to Navigate the iGEM Competition — iGEM Blog] We already have a core group of interested students and are now seeking additional 3rd-year bachelor’s students and 1st-year master’s students to join the team. Students from all educational backgrounds are encouraged to apply. While iGEM is a synthetic biology competition, building a successful project requires a diverse team with diverse skills including fields such as science, engineering, health, ethics, and business.
