Hi all,
As a warm up to IDI Open 2011 we are doing a training session in
Stibitz-123 on monday the 28th at 14-17 - and bring your friends, we're
always interested in new participants!
I will find some problems we can try to solve. We will probably solve
some problems from the UVa judge, so go sign up if you are not already:

If you have any questions, feel free to send me an email.
Best,
Jesper
Hi all,
Another programming competition is upon us! This time it is IDI open
2011, which is held on April 2nd.
We plan on participating in this contest, and if enough people are
willing to spend a saturday solving algorithmic problems we will get
pizzas and soda for lunch sponsored by the institute. We usually meet in
the Stibitz building for contests.
You can read about the contest here:

This competition is a team competition, which means you sit together 2-3
people at one computer and solve the problems given.
We have been talking about having a few practice sessions before the
competition so that you can get a feel for what kind of problems you are
to solve during the competition and get familiar with the setting.
If you are interested in participating, either in the competition or
practicing, or have any questions please send me an email. Even if you
do not have a team yet, send me an email and I'll try to put you in
contact with others who do not have a team yet either.
In case you decide to sign up yourself, remember to put "[Ã…rhus]" as the
first part of your team name.
Hope to hear from you soon!
Best,
Jesper
